Coming up roses.

Dear goddesses of fabric:

please don't let anything untoward happen regarding this fabric we just ordered (ie floods, pestilance, running out of yardage in the online shop, shipping that turns out to be twice the cost of the fabric).

Because we love it. Yes we do. I think Miss Kitty and I will both be dreaming of what frocks we can make from this tonight.

This year's picnic theme just keeps manifesting itself...

I dreamt that the roses were huuuuuge scale and I had to make a full circle skirt to make the most of them. Fortunately, we will have enough fabric if my dream comes true.

This will be fab in pleaty neckline or even crossover hot bodice, or the blue spottie faux-wrap bodice...

Is it here yet?

Very very purty indeed.Moggy, do you remember the fabric of my bridesmaid's dress? Kinda like this, but in muted greys and blues. *Sigh* - roses never go out of fashion in my book...

This fabric took my breath away. It reminded me of some curtains that used to hang in my childhood bedroom that had been there from the fifties and my parents never changed them when we lived there in the seventies.

Get every yard of it
