Lepolar

I have already started tripfit planning for an as yet unbooked trip (March 2010) but these things can't be done too early!I decided that I wanted a polar fleece jacket that didn't look too much like one.I have McCall 5245 (now OOP) and some leopard print polar fleece in the stash (in the special leopard fabric section, don't you know). I think I bought it at the same time as the pattern.

So, here is my slightly dressy polar fleece jacket. It is very comfy and warm. All it needs is a button or two and it is done.

That is excellent, and I am even more ashamed that my jacket is not done. You didn't line it did you? Tell me you didn't line it...

Damn. Now I need this pattern

Oh that is so cute! I love sewing in polar fleece; it's so easy. I made a duffle coat out of 2 layers of polar fleece. It's my winter coat, and it's so warm and snuggly, but it's not LEOPARD!! Very hip!

I want that jacket! Where on earth did you get that polar fleece. Needless to say, in Byron Bay you can't buy polar fleece, no matter what kind!

Carol - the polar fleece was from Spotlight.
I can imagine there isn't much call for it in Byron! They stock it year round here in Melbourne though...
