Sigh. I've sewn 3/4 of a dress and one small curtain so far, and it is ace! Now contemplating options for storage, and amazing myself at just how much fabric I have (it's been hiding in the front room for years, naughty fabric!).
I love it! It must be awesome to have an actual sewing room. I'd think about open shelves for fabric storage--at least for the bigger pieces. That way you can see exactly what you have. I found a cute white wicker etagere (on the side of the road--in perfect condition, no less!) that holds some of my fabric. Right now, my whole sewing room--office--library--storage room--whatever is a total pigsty. Too much going on. I wish it looked as nice as your room does! BTW...don't you know it's impossible to have too much fabric?
It is fabulous! I would be awfully jealous if not for the fact that I am getting a new sewing machine with an up/down needle button. Nope, still jealous.

Hey - I'm jealous, and I don't even sew! It's the world's biggest cubby house!
