If you want warm, sunny weather for an event like a picnic, outdoor wedding or such, just plan it for the day after I finish a toasty jumper. Results guaranteed.
It's like 24 degrees or something today.
Here's cabley, (Calista's Alexander McQueen Knockoff Sweater, see details in a previous post) basking in the autumn sunshine.
My first cables. They're a lot of work and they get a bit tedious after a while, especially on tiny needles and when the back and front are exactly the same. I used my new Boyes interchangeable circulars to do the neckband, and they weren't slippery at all on the 100% wool (Patons Fireside, by the way, I don't think it's made anymore looking at the website). I tried them on some cotton though, eeeeek, had my Denise's out like a shot.

Gosh, she is even prettier in the daylight! I can only look at your cables with awe.
Boy oh boy I am missing craftinating! Am suppressing it with interior decor conceptualising. Latest inspiration: I shall use my mexican oilcloth to make new covers for my wrought iron garden setting. Won't that be fab?
Divine inspiration, that oilcloth idea.
I LOVE this sweater. I looked at your previous entry on this and, unless I'm missing something, couldn't find a link to the pattern. Is there one?
Hi goosefairy,
Here's a link to the pattern for this sweater:
